Available Thickness Options:
Choose the right AR500 steel thickness for your firearm setup:

• 1/4” AR500 Steel: Ideal for rimfire rifles (.22, .17 HMR) and pistols up to .45 caliber. Perfect for plinking and handgun practice.

• 3/8” AR500 Steel: Great for rifles up to .30-06, including .22, .17 HMR, .223, 7.62x39, .243, .26, and all pistols up to .500 caliber.

• 1/2” AR500 Steel: Built for extreme power calibers like .300 Win Mag, 7mm, .338 Lapua, and .50 BMG, while still suitable for all lower calibers.

• Heavy-Duty AR500 Steel Construction:
   Crafted from 100% American-made AR500 steel — melted, rolled, and CNC-cut in the USA for maximum strength and uniformity. Steel certifications available upon request.

• Precision CNC Cutting:
   Each target is CNC plasma cut under a coolant bath, reducing heat distortion and the heat-affected zone (HAZ). This process keeps the metal cool, resists corrosion, and produces longer-lasting targets.
  

• Powder-Coated Finish for Visibility:
   Every target is powder-coated for high visibility and corrosion resistance. Standard color is orange; custom colors available upon request.
  

• Safety & Distance Guidelines:
   For rounds over 2850 fps, maintain a minimum of 200 yards to preserve safety and target life.
  

• Pistols: 10 yards minimum (25 yards for magnum calibers)
  

• Rifles: 100 yards minimum
  

• High-velocity rounds: 200 yards minimum
  

• For safety and maximum durability, AR500 steel targets should only be used at distances where bullet impact velocity is below 2,850 feet per second (fps).
  

• Easy Mounting Options:
   Each target includes 1/2” mounting holes (Grade 8 hardware recommended, Grade 5 acceptable). Compatible with Precision Targets® Grab-N-Go stands and Flip-N-Rip base kits (sold separately).
