Dueling Tree with Flip-N-Rip Stand — Setup Instructions
AR500 Steel Reactive Target
Overview
This dueling tree lets one or two shooters train side by side for speed and accuracy. Paddles and the center upright are 100% AR500 steel, swinging a full 180° with a loud ring on impact and resetting automatically for the next round. It ships with our Flip-N-Rip stand for fast, tool-free setup — no wrenches, no bolts.

Assembly Instructions
- Set up the tripod. Lay the Flip-N-Rip base on the ground and unfold the two front legs away from the rear fixed leg until each one contacts the stop position, forming a stable tripod.
- Mount the upright post. Insert the upright post into the slot closest to the single fixed leg. Ensure the target holders face away from the shooter and the post slides through both slots to achieve the correct 20° forward leaning angle, which is recommended to reduce slap-back and bullet splash.
- Anchor the base. Press the front stake firmly into the ground, or set the tripod on a flat, stable surface until all three feet are solidly planted.
- Hang the first paddle. Starting at the lowest mounting bracket, hang your first paddle by slipping its pivot bar through the bottom two pivot holes.
- Hang the remaining paddles. Continue up the post, alternating each paddle left and right at every bracket, until all 6 paddles are hung.
- Swing-test. Swing-test every paddle through its full 180° rotation to ensure each one resets freely without rubbing the post or clipping a neighboring paddle.
- Final check. Recheck that the tripod is level and the post hasn't shifted, then step back to a safe shooting distance before firing.
